About Curb To Coast

Road trips, car reviews, and driving guides across America and beyond. Plan your next adventure from curb to coast.

Who it's for

Curb To Coast is written for road trippers and car buyers, mostly in the US, planning long drives or choosing a car that suits them. Every guide tries to answer the question you actually have, with the numbers, steps and caveats you need to make a decision.

How guides are made

Each guide starts from primary sources: official government and immigration pages, operators' own sites, manufacturer specifications and published price lists. Guides are written with the help of AI writing tools and checked against those sources before they're published.

Guides also summarize what people report after actually doing the thing: moving, visiting, building or driving. These experiences come from public forums, owner reviews and campground reviews. Each one is paraphrased, linked to the original post, and presented as one person's experience rather than a rule.

We don't invent first-hand experiences. When a guide gives a price, a rule or a timeline, it comes from a source, and where figures vary or change often we say so and give a range. Every guide ends with a list of the sources it used.

Keeping things accurate

Rules, prices and opening times change. If you spot something out of date or wrong, email [email protected] and we'll check it and update the guide.

How the site is funded

Some links on Curb To Coast are affiliate links: if you book or buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That never decides what we recommend. The details are on our affiliate disclosure page.
